I currently work as a Merchandising & Operations intern in the textile industry, and am constantly looking for new opportunities within the intersection of business and design, namely in digital design and design strategy.
Below are some projects that I’ve completed as part of my coursework at Parsons.

I ’d started with the research question of “How could we incentivize companies to incoporate more sustainable practices into their operations?” This could be where: sourcing recycled materials could cut costs, or bettering system operation could increase material use efficiency, or lowering energy costs through renewabe energy implementation.
It’s pivoted now to discussing the idea of “circulr-ish”, current efforts and drawbacks from them, and what’s needed to create meaningful change. This magazine is still in progress, as I am looking to continue my research and writing after this semester.

Research Compendium
Starting with a research plan that consisted of gathering desk research, interviewing, mapping, and generative activities, I collected data and insights to find a way in to disrupt the system.
A How Might We? statement of “How might we provide resources and education to teens that will give them the resources to navigate the digital world responsibly?” was used to uncover statements and ideate potential solutions for the future.
This compendium acts as a record of my process and all research collected, as well as reflections and insights.

Mini Digital Zine
Two spreads that I designed for a digital mini-zine on sustainable fashion, with Niki Balakumar and Sofia Boyesen. We were able to freely choose a platform and topic of interest, and created our own objective of what we wanted to emphasize through this zine.
We focused on spreading information, even if not having a clear resolution or solution to the crisis of the waste that comes with clothing consumption and the ethical problems within the industry. Fashion and the wearing of clothes is an act that excludes no one - readers after reading this zine will have to make choices for themselves on how they choose to consume fashion.
